This is a survey-based report on college boards and the assessment of student learning as prepared by the Association of Governing Boards of Universities and Colleges (U.S.). According to the report, a majority of trustees and chief academic officers say boards do not spend enough time discussing student-learning outcomes, and more than a third say boards do not understand how student learning is assessed.
