This European Schoolnet report, issued in June 2009, reports on the predicted ICT skills gap in the EU, and analyzes the low rate of female students opting for studies that can lead to careers in ICT.   The study was carried out in five EU countries and looks at the both secondary, tertiary education and cultural factors that influence girls decisions towards course work that enables ICT job skills. The report was conducted with support from Cisco.
