Researchers at Australia’s Wesley College have completed a study on the use of e-readers in education. The research demonstrated that younger readers were less satisfied with e-readers than adult readers, that the implementation of e-readers in a conventional library acquisition and cataloging system is practically unworkable at this time, and that e-readers are most effective when used as personal devices. The study will be published in the next edition of Synergy.Source: School Library Association of Victoria
