This week, U.S. Secretary of Education Arne Duncan addresses a joint meeting of the Council of Chief State School Officers and the State Higher Education Executive Officers at what is the first meeting of the two organizations. Duncan will urge K-12 and higher education leaders to work together to improve high school and college graduation rates, as well as to focus on achieving President Obama’s goal that America once again lead the world in college completion by the end of the decade.Source: ED.gov
