The Writing, Learning, and Leading in the Digital Age report released by the National Writing Project and the College Board states that teachers play a critical role in driving the use of technology to teach writing, despite the challenges of technology implementation. The report found that the ability to write for a real audience and to collaborate on writing projects via Web 2.0 tools–blogs, podcasts, wikis, comics-creating software–can heighten student engagement and enhance writing and critical-thinking skills, at all grade levels and across all subjects.Source: eSchool News
