According to a report to be released publicly this week by the U.S. Government Accountability Office, recruiters at the 15 for-profit colleges under investigation misled potential students about program costs, quality, and duration, or about the average salary of graduates. In addition, at 4 of the 15 schools, recruiters encouraged prospective students to lie on their financial aid applications.Source: The New York Times
