Distance-learning programs enable students to enroll in various professional courses while carrying out their jobs. India’s Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) and Rajarshi Tandon Open University (RTOU) are two schools that offer distance learning. For many students, distance learning provides the chance to earn at young age, not to mention garner work experience.
