The Assessment & Teaching of 21st-Century Skills (ATC21S) program will hold its official launch in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, on July 2. Since 2009, the program’s international team has been researching, developing, and creating innovative new resources for assessing and teaching 21st-century skills, and for tracking student progress from novice to expert. ATC21S now has produced an integrated system of assessment, reporting, and teaching of 21st-century skills, including:
- A system of cloud-based tasks used to assess and measure skills in collaborative problem solving
and ICT digital literacy
- Reporting modules showing skill assessments at the individual, class, and system levels
- Professional development materials for teachers, which can be used as a basis for designing classroom activities for 21st-century skills.
ATC21S welcomes all those interested 21st-century skills, assessments, education policy, international education research, and educational measurement to attend the launch celebration. For more information, contact the ATC21S team via e-mail.
