Atari founder Nolan Bushnell’s new project aims to use technology in the form of a cloud-based video game to streamline high school down from four years to one. Bushnell announced the new Speed to Learn project at the latest Cloud Gaming Conference USA. According to the announcement, Speed to Learn incentivizes learning by providing students with interesting payoffs. At an education summit in New York, Bushnell described the program as arcade-style video games combined with aerobic activity for the purpose of education.
