A committee of Indian vice-chancellors has proposed a common entrance test for admission to undergraduate and post-graduate courses for all central university colleges and institutions. This results of this test will be factored in over and above the school board results to determine admission into university. The committee has proposed that the weightage of school results and the common test be fixed by individual universities.
