  South Africa Basic Education Minister Hails Matric Pass Rate

  Contract teachers in Lebanon’s public schools went on strike today to protest the government’s delay in paying them their dues and to oppose a proposal by the Education Ministry to hold an open exam to meet the demand for teachers in public schools.
